Speaker’s Biography: Joseph Dexter is a Data Science Fellow at Harvard University and co-founder and co-director of the Quantitative Criticism Lab. A computational biologist by training, he has broad interests in interdisciplinary data science, including biomedical applications of natural language processing and collaborative research on the digital humanities. Prior to joining the Harvard Data Science Initiative, Dexter was a Neukom Fellow at Dartmouth College. He holds a Ph.D. in Systems Biology from Harvard University and an A.B. in Chemistry from Princeton University.
